Family Story Time
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten
The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read any book to your baby, infant and/or toddler. The goal is to read 1,000 books before your precious one starts kindergarten.
Download or pick up a reading journal at the Putnam Public Library, and every time your child reaches the goal of 100 books he/she will receive a FREE book!
Awe Early Literacy Stations
The Children's Room has three computers designed especially for Pre-K to third grade users.
These durable, child-friendly computers are loaded with more than forty top-rated developmental software titles in a full range of curriculum areas such as reading, writing, phonics and more.
