Planning and Land Use

This department reviews all planning and land use activities including wetlands, zoning, planning and subdivision review, aquifer protection efforts.  

This office reviews any activities that may impact wetlands and watercourses within the designated, regulated areas. This office also reviews planning applications including subdivisions and overall town planning as part of the Plan of Conservation and Development.

This office supports the Aquifer Protection Agency by reviewing activities that are within our town's aquifer protection area.

This office reviews applications for zoning in the following areas: gravel excavation applications, activities in flood plains, stormwater, and erosion and sediment control measures.
