Blight

The Town hired a Blight Enforcement Officer beginning July 31st, 2023. This position is funded by the Economic and Community Development's Trust Fund, reporting to the Putnam Redevelopment Agency. We look forward to continuing the hard work of our Building Department with an employee dedicated solely to blight. This action has been taken in conjunction with the Town's Affordable Housing Plan and the Strategic Plan of the Economic and Community Development Commission. Blight is a major priority for the Town and this is a monumental step in the right direction.
