Blight
The Town hired a Blight Enforcement Officer beginning July 31st, 2023. This position was funded by the Economic and Community Development's Trust Fund, reporting to the Putnam Redevelopment Agency. The Department is now a stand-alone department and part of the general government budget. We look forward to continuing the hard work of our Building Department with an employee dedicated solely to blight. Blight is a major priority for the Town and this is a monumental step in the right direction.
