The Town Hall is now open to the public, normal business hours. However, if you would rather, we offer many of our services through our online website or email. We are all trying to adhere best to the social distancing practices and ask that if you do not feel well, you do not come to the office, but call or email. If you come to the office, we ask that you help in keeping yourself and staff healthy by following posted guidelines.

You may continue to access our property cards and GIS through the link to the left. If you have any questions regarding tax exemptions, assessments, motor vehicle adjustments or the homeowner's program, please call during business hours or email through a click on staff below.

We are now processing applications for the Renters Rebate program through the mail. If you received benefits last year, you should have received a letter listing the information we require for you to file again. If you are a new filer, please call the office and we will advise on how to proceed. Please see the link to the left for information on this program.



Welcome to the Assessor's Office!

The major responsibility of the Assessors Office is to produce the Grand List, which is used in the budget process to help establish the Town’s mill rate each spring. The three parts of the Grand List are Real Estate, Motor Vehicles and Personal Property. The three main functions of the office are to discover, list and value all property. The office maintains the Town’s tax maps and data about all properties, including ownership, and size of all buildings. It is also the office that processes property tax exemptions for veterans, elderly, blind and disabled persons.
