Since its founding in 1966, as an organization involved with the
engineering and construction of refractories and insulation, Zampell
Refractories has embodied the principle that anything less than

Zampell Refractories has the foresight and vision that enables

Thomas "Tom" Zampell has had a special partnership with
GE Aircraft Engines in Lynn, MA since 1936. Tom rose from craftsman
to head of GE's Construction Services which he managed for several
decades. Today, the company that bears the founder and current chairman's
name continues its partnership relationship with GE Aircraft Engines.
As President and CEO, James "Jim" Zampell carries on
the legacy and tradition of his father. Jim has a thorough understanding
of all aspects of the operations - from laborer through supervisor
to final decision maker. It is through Jim's expertise that all
construction activities reflect innovative managerial and team building
skills that are required to meet the needs and expectations of its
customers.
Spanning over 7 decades, Zampell is a name which signifies a heritage
