Genealogy and Local History
The following local history volumes are in our Reference section. In addition to these books we have the Observer-Patriot (Putnam Patriot, Windham County Standard) from 1874-1994 with some missed years (1955-1958) in microfilm format. Please ask to use the microfilm reader at the Adult Circulation desk. If you are interested in obituaries from any of these historical newspapers please click here to email us. We will email the obituary to you if we are successful. Our Local History Resources flyer is available here. Adobe Acrobat Reader is necessary to download and look at this file.
