Dig Up a Good Book- READ!!!
We're digging all kinds of things up this summer! Mad Science
will be at the Library in July for three sessions (registration only),
Miss Tina will be presenting three story/craft times and Free
Summer Lunch will be available from June 21 to August 16
(except July 4 and 5). Our kickoff will be on June 15,
with a Creature Teachers program at 11 am.

The library offers a full collection of books, magazines, DVDs, videos
and books on tape /CD for children. Story kits are available with a variety of
materials centered around a theme.
The Children's Room has three computers designed especially for Pre-K
to third grade users. These durable, child-friendly computers are loaded
with more than forty top-rated developmental software titles
in a full range of curriculum areas such as reading, writing,
phonics and more. The purchase of the Early Literacy
Stations was made possible by a generous donation
from the Praxair Foundation.
During the school year two story hours are offered for preschool children (3-5)
with the Tuesday at 4 pm being open to multi-age families.
The under 3 group is welcome at our Friday and Saturday program,
Tina’s Tiny Tots. Preschool story time meets Tuesday at 4 pm
and Thursday at 11 am. Tina's Tiny Tots meets at 11 am
on Friday and Saturday mornings.

Read to Tattle and Sleepy Tales with Zoda are monthly programs
with our dog friends. Tattle and Zoda are gentle dogs
with therapy training who come in to the library
to listen to children read. Children sign up for 15 minutes at a time
and after their session they can give the dog a supervised snack.
